Cheer-Themed Charity Aims to Help Donate 25 Million Meals to Feeding America

Lake Mary, Florida, August 26, 2011 – Today Cheer for a Cause announced they are teaming with Kraft Foods to fight hunger in America in September. The mission of Kraft Foods’ Huddle to Fight Hunger is to help donate 25 million meals to Feeding America®, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief organization, to help the more than 50 million Americans who live in food insecure households.

For each person that “likes” Kraft Fight Hunger on Facebook, Kraft Foods will donate the monetary equivalent of one meal to Feeding America on behalf of his or her local Feeding America Food Bank.

The campaign will culminate in San Francisco on December 31, 2011, with the second annual Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl, which will be broadcast live on ESPN, featuring a team from the Pacific-12 Conference vs. Army.
