I’m writing today to say Spirit Post will be moving to the back row for a while as I focus my attention on a different aspect of our industry. Spirit Post’s first article was published on January 1, 2007, but it really started about 2 years before that with a couple other sites, and the last 8+ years have been a fun learning experience that taught me so much I couldn’t have learned any other way. Cheer and dance have changed so much over that time and I’ve enjoyed being part of those changes and sharing them via Spirit Post, but it’s now time for me to take a step back from this side of the industry and hand off my torch.
On that note, I’m pleased to be among the first to announce the launch of Cheer Daily, a new cheerleading news and information website from the newly formed Cheer Media. Cheer Daily is only the first project from Cheer Media, Shane Womack’s new cheer and dance media company, and I’m looking forward to the other projects I know are in the works.
