Varsity All Star Announces Triple Crown Championship to be Aired on CBS Sports Network

Varsity All Star LogoMemphis, Tenn., January 29, 2014 – Varsity All Star has announced that it will air three separate one-hour shows on the CBS Sports Network tracking the teams of the Triple Crown Championship. The shows will take viewers behind the scenes at their home gyms and on the road at events as they compete for this new title.

Four Senior Large Coed Level 5 teams have committed to compete for this new title. ACE Warriors, Charlotte All Stars Midnight, Top Gun All Stars and Stingrays All Stars Steel will be featured. Viewers will get to see the teams preparing at their gyms and practicing for the events.

Cheersport LogoIn support of Varsity’s Shine On campaign, which encourages service and stewardship, these teams will not just be competing for a title; they will be competing to win money for a charity of their choice. As these teams compete at CHEERSPORT, NCA and UCA, they will earn money towards their cause based on where they place at each event. The winning team’s designated cause will not only receive the sum of their team’s winnings, but Varsity All Star will match that amount.

NCA All Star Nationals Logo“We are excited to introduce the Triple Crown Championship and partner with CBS Sports to televise this inaugural season,” says John Newby, Executive Vice President of Varsity. “And we’re proud that we can work together with these amazing gyms to raise money for great causes, each one handpicked by the teams. Good luck to all teams competing to be the first ever Triple Crown Champion.”
