Cheerlebrity brings the star quality to All Star Cheerleading.
Memphis, Tenn. (February 2011) – Varsity All Star is proud to announce its latest all star competition brand: Cheerlebrity.
Cheerlebrity is unique in the entire all star cheerleading community, with a competition experience that is completely original. Each team will be judged by a traditional scoring panel of judges and a special Cheerlebrity panel, which will consist of well known all star athletes, coaches and popular choreographers from across the country. Scores will be announced after each performance using the Varsity All Star digital scoring system.
Each Cheerlebrity competition will feature Cheerlebrity tumblers, coaches and teams. Winners from each competition will have their video posted on Cheerlebrity.com to compete head to head with other winners in a “People’s Choice” competition. Fans will vote for their favorite performance on the web after each competition.
John Newby, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Varsity, is excited for the all star community. “Cheerlebrity gives us a chance to enhance the excitement of an all star event even more. We hope the athletes feel like the rock stars they are during and after a Cheerlebrity event.”
Cheerlebrity competitions will be introduced in the Midwest starting November 2011. Cities slated for competitions are Chicago, Cincinnati, Louisville, Pittsburgh and Toledo.
