January 27, 2011- Westerville, OH – Three cheers for the iAward! The Independents have awarded its first iAward! The iAward recognizes an organization, athlete, coach or individual who demonstrates the highest Integrity – Enthusiasm – and Passion towards sportsmanship and community involvement. Independent Event Producers each have a pre-determined event where they will bestow this prestigious honor. The first organization to receive this honor was Sparks All-Stars of Avon, MA. The award was presented by Spirit Festival at their Spirit Fest Cheer and Dance Nationals on January 8-9, 2011. When asked why the Sparks were selected for this honor, Robin from Spirit Festival writes, “the Sparks exemplify the values the IEP –iAward is all about- Integrity – Enthusiasm – and Passion towards sportsmanship and community involvement.”
