December 30, 2010 – Minneapolis MN – The Independent Event Producers (IEP) welcomes All Things Cheer & Dance from Arizona. “The independent sector is the largest portion of the spirit industry. Independent companies bring unique qualities and customer incentives to events all across the country.” says Colleen Little, IEP Chairperson and co-owner of Cheer America.
In one year’s time, the independents have initiated the universal score sheet currently in progress via the USASF, was awarded the 2010 SITA Collaboration Honor for 6 or more companies, sponsored the USASF Regional Meetings on a five star level, and developed the iAward Sportsmanship Recognition Program. The greatest achievement for the IEP is the membership growth. Currently there are 23 independents and the door is open for more.
