Cheersport has form an alliance with Varsity Brands allowing Cheersport to participate in the Varsity Family Plan. The email below was sent on March 12th:
CHEERSPORT is extremely pleased to announce the formation of a strategic alliance with Varsity Brands that allows CHEERSPORT to participate in the Varsity Family Plan.
“We are thrilled with this new alliance because it will allow us to serve our customers even better” states CHEERSPORT President Kevin Brubaker. “Varsity and CHEERSPORT have many mutual customers and these customers will be well served by this alliance. In addition to providing outstanding events and competitions, Varsity offers a wide variety of goods and services which we believe are the best in the industry. This alliance will allow our customers to benefit from their relationship with Varsity and attend CHEERSPORT events. It will allow us to continue to focus on producing events which is our core competency.”
This alliance is not a merger or an acquisition. There is no change in ownership or management. “We are humbled that Varsity would allow us to join their outstanding brands as part of the Varsity Family Plan. We have a history of working together on initiatives which we believe are in the best interests of our customers and our industry. We share many core values and beliefs and look forward to this new relationship” stated Brubaker.
CHEERSPORT was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Charlotte, NC. The company produces approximately 30 one-day Grand Championships and one National Championship each year.
