The End of the Internet is…
Windows Mobile 6 II
A few more points on Windows Mobile 6:
- The phone unlock function is more secure. Previously if you had a 4 character password the phone would let you know if you got the password right or wrong after you entered the 4th character. Now you have to hit the unlock button after you enter the password so the phone does not give away the length of the password.
- The new text message icon is different than the new email icon.
Norton
I was on the Norton Anti-Virus site earlier today and noticed something that I can describe as misleading at best.
If you take a close look at the picture you will notice price to buy via download, package, or download with a backup CD are the same, $39.99. My problem is the download and backup CD option says “add $9.95″ below it. If I have to add $9.95 to the price, how can you say the cost is $39.99?
Another problem I had today was the pricing of Norton Anti-Virus 2008. It costs $39.99 to upgrade from 2007 to 2008, but only costs $29.99 to buy 2008. Thanks for rewarding loyal customers.
