I should have titled this I Give Up. Every year I give up something for Lent. In the past it’s been red meat (and I really like my burgers and a steak), alcohol (and you know my love of bourbon), and a variety of other things. The hard part isn’t the day to day avoidance of something, it’s the random craving for something after a long day, after the days that have worn out your willpower.
This year I decided to give something up and add something to my life. I’m not going to put what they are in this, but if you’re around me much they probably won’t be very difficult to figure out.
