Kentucky is 4-4

Kentucky lost a disaster of a game to Tennessee, 52-21. Tennessee scored more by halftime than Kentucky would in the game and the second half was worse. Georgia is next.

On the national scene, one team fell from the undefeated list. Temple lost a close game to Notre Dame leaving the list with 11. Eight of the 11 would need to beat another team on the list to make it to bowl selection Sunday undefeated, making it so at most 6 teams will make it there undefeated. The first selection committee rankings come out this week. The list is down to:

• Big 10 – Ohio State, Michigan State, Iowa
• Big 12 – Baylor, TCU, Oklahoma State
• ACC – Clemson
• SEC – LSU
• American – Memphis, Houston
• MAC – Toledo
