Kentucky is 4-3 after losing convincingly at Mississippi State, 42-16. I didn’t watch any of the game so see how we played, but the second quarter was our downfall. The next game is Saturday against Tennessee.
Two teams fell from the undefeated list this week. Utah was run over by Southern California and Florida State fell on a blocked last second field goal attempt resulting in a Georgia Tech touchdown. The remaining 12 are:

- Big 12 – Baylor, TCU, Oklahoma State
- ACC – Clemson
- SEC – LSU
- American – Memphis, Houston, Temple
- MAC – Toledo
