The latest book I’ve read is The Way of the Superior Man by David Deida. I can’t remember who recommended it and think I either read it at the wrong time or took to long to read it because it didn’t really keep my attention. The book is about becoming a better man and learning to work with the opposite traits that exist.
I liked that he promoted being a better Man (or Woman), not just a better nondescript person. He also talked about characteristics that are traditionally masculine or feminine and the need for any relationship to have both sides to properly balance and replenish each other. The opposite need each other to reach their best, but if they don’t counter balance each other they’ll start inheriting each others’ traits and become a nondescript person.
