Nelson Mandela passed yesterday. This morning USA Today published 15 of Nelson Mandela’s Best Quotes. I’m not sure I can pick a favorite, but the one that struck me the most while reading them is:
A fundamental concern for others in our individual and community lives would go a long way in making the world the better place we so passionately dreamt of.
South African President Jacob Zuma has announced December 8th will be a national day or mourning, an official memorial service will be held on December 10th, and Mandela will be laid to rest on December 15th.
